Col Reese Turner is a retired United States Army Colonel and fitness professional based in Louisville, Kentucky. After serving more than three decades in the military, Col Reese Turner successfully transitioned into the health and wellness industry, where he continues to lead and inspire others.
Over the course of 31 years, Mr. Turner held numerous command and staff positions in the United States and overseas. His final military assignment was as operations support division chief at the U.S. Army Human Resources Command at Fort Knox. In that role, he oversaw the assignment and talent management of more than 90,000 enlisted soldiers worldwide.
Following his retirement from the Army, Mr. Turner applied his skills to civilian roles focused on training, wellness, and organizational development. He served in leadership positions with organizations including Interapt Skills, ProFormance Health and Well Being, and VyFy Wellness Club. He also worked as a coach and instructor, helping individuals improve their physical fitness and overall well-being.
In 2024, Col Reese Turner joined Blairwood Fitness as fitness manager before being selected as club manager shortly thereafter. He later advanced to regional group exercise manager for Genesis Health Clubs in Louisville, a position he has held to date. In this role, he oversees group fitness programming across multiple locations, supports instructors, and helps create an environment that encourages healthy lifestyles and community engagement. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Mr. Turner engages in sports and leisure activities such as ultimate football, pool, and corn hole. He is also an avid reader.
